This Grade II listed Thatched Cottage caught fire in February 2016. A series of investigations and surveys were carried out in advance of a soft strip to allow the building to dry out and erect a temporary roof over the cottage to prevent any further loss of fabric. The house has now been sensitively restored and the owner has returned to his home in time for Christmas.
