About the practice

Our practice specialises in traditional architecture that focuses on modern needs. We are experienced in working on masterplans, residential developments, extensions, conversions, offices and schools. We are also well versed in dealing with listed or historic buildings and conservation issues. Our approach involves creating environments that are durable, sustainable and attractive, and which meet the client's requirements and budget. The Principal, James Armitage, is closely associated with the Prince's Foundation. Clients include developers, institutions and private householders. We cover Bath, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, as well as the UK generally. Services offered include planning applications, listed building consents, construction drawings and site inspections.
