This block sits within a handsome Victorian terrace and retail parade in Hampstead town centre. The project involves the subdivision of a single vacant residential unit into 2 1 bed and 1 2 bed flats. The existing internal fabric is on the whole stripped to shell with limited original features. Our proposal looks to retain character features and insert new high quality Bathroom and Kitchen ‘pods’ to a lower datum. The celestories and hold-open lobby joinery ensure good lighting levels to the centre of this compact plan.
