Hatterwan Architects provided interior design services for the show flat and reception lobby of a new-build development consisting of 89 private flats, commercial units, a gym and a concierge area in Whitechapel. Dark oak, concrete, metallic effect lacquer and engineered stone provided a stylish material palette that reflected the up-and-coming area. This met the client’s design aspirations but was also budget mindful. The design of the lobby area also aimed to capture the design-conscious purchaser by integrating industrial materials like corten and satin brass with richer materials such as white oiled timber veneer and terrazzo flooring.
