Grafted is providing comprehensive architectural services and project coordination for the expansion of a client’s penthouse residence. Addressing the client’s requirement for additional family accommodation, the client appointed Grafted to explore the potential of acquiring and integrating the apartment below their existing two-level penthouse. Our initial feasibility study confirmed the viability and established a clear approach for this vertical integration. Following the feasibility study, Grafted developed the scheme through detailed design and tender stages, having secured the necessary planning permission. The project, which incorporates a new internal staircase connecting three floors, is currently on site. Grafted continues to provide coordination and support during the construction phase, liaising with and managing the multidisciplinary consultant team (Structural, M&E, QS, CA) to support the delivery of this significant refurbishment and integration project.
