Full RIBA Service. This Victorian semi-detached property has been previously converted back to an original single dwelling from two flats. The property lies within The Dulwich Estate, Southwark, London. This project seeks to reintegrate the property to a single family dwelling with a new rear extension for family living. It is built onto the party wall line on the northern boundary. The variegated massing is set back from the southern boundary, to reflect best practice. The new accommodation measures 3.5m to eaves level, 4.5m at its highest point, stepping down to 3m in height, 6m in depth to the southern boundary, 5m in depth to the northern boundary. The roofscape has a series of integrated roofights. The principal material employed is anthracite zinc for the walls and roof. A new utility wing in London stock brick is also provided to the side access of the property. The project unites the rear of the property with the large garden. The proposal has received both local planning permission & The Dulwich Estate Scheme of Management licence.
