A two-storey office building in Harlow needed a safe new way up to the plant room in its roof space, reached until now by a ladder and a hatch. We drew two options, a U-shaped stair and a spiral stair, and the client chose the spiral. We prepared the construction drawings, made the Building Control application and act as Principal Designer. Building Control drawings were issued in October 2026. RIBA Stages 2 to 4.
