This Contemporary luxury resort development will comprise a 100 bed 5 Star luxury retreat Hotel and Spa, 160 branded Residences and a separate 200 unit 5 Star Aparthotel. It will be sited on approx 70 hectares of undeveloped natural landscape bordering the dramatic Algarve coastline with access to several secluded beaches and surrounding coastal forest. The design for the Architectural elements integrates the built form sympathetically with the natural surroundings, allowing the indigenous landscape to prevail, yet providing a unique and interesting feel to the resort. The intention is to create a resort which sets itself apart from the current surrounding Algarve tourist developments, using elegant contemporary architectural forms and language, environmentally friendly building materials, natural, locally sourced finishes and utilising local crafts where possible to give the resort a uniqueness yet a strong ‘sense of place’ relevant to its location.
