Zhangliang Mala Tang Noodle Bar – Liverpool Street, London Bronze Design Award Winner (2023–2024) – Interior Space and Exhibition Design Category Project Status: Partially Completed Project Overview Located in the heart of London’s financial district at 155 Bishopsgate, Liverpool Street, this project redefines the noodle bar experience by merging tradition with contemporary design. Commissioned by Zhangliang Mala Tang (UK) Limited in collaboration with British Land, our team provided full architectural services, including interior design, FF&E procurement, and design management. Concept & Design Inspiration Inspired by the artistry of noodle-making and the elegance of bamboo, the interior concept reflects the fluidity of stretched noodles while embracing bamboo’s natural strength and sustainability. The design also integrates Wu Xing – the Five Elements philosophy, creating a harmonious environment that connects diners with nature.
