A pioneering logistics facility at Magna Park Milton Keynes, Magnitude 314 was the world’s first building verified as Net Zero Carbon for Construction under the UKGBC framework. Delivered for GLP and now occupied by Royal Mail, the scheme achieved a 25.8% reduction in embodied carbon through rigorous specification, supply chain transparency, and whole-life assessment. Chetwoods Thrive and Circular Ecology supported carbon optimisation. Designed to BREEAM Excellent and WELL principles, the project also delivered over 39% social value, significantly exceeding typical benchmarks for comparable construction projects.
