The brief from the client was for a 'Georgian' Style home with a grand entrance hallway, to the rear of the property a more contemporary approach was requested. We worked closely with the client to blend the two styles and incorporate their 'must have' features. The site is situated in the Greenbelt, we initially submitted a Planning in Principle application to establish the principle of a dwelling on the site, before entering into the detailed design phase on the contentious site.
