Dumbbell House is a bespoke replacement dwelling within the settlement boundary of Lytham, designed as a contemporary interpretation of the area's established architectural character. The design carefully balances modern living with a respect for its surroundings, creating a home that feels both distinctive and familiar within the street scene. Working across architecture, interior design and project management, BCAE developed a fully integrated design approach, ensuring every element of the home was considered as part of a cohesive whole. The result is a refined family home that combines timeless design, practicality and a strong sense of place.
