This much-loved London museum is housed in the former Covent Garden Flower Market. Atelier MB won the tender to design repair and improvement works to the 140-year-old Grade II listed buildings in a scheme using the Museum Estate and Development Funds. Proposals involve carefully protecting historic fabric whilst increasing the efficiency of on-site energy production via a renewed Photovoltaic panel system. The project looks to the future- safeguarding the listed buildings and undertaking vital capital works.
