Alma-nac Collaborative Architecture

11 Waterloo Court , 10 Theed Street , London , SE1 8ST

This competition winning low cost scheme building is to be built around the corner from the alma-nac studio. Constructed in SIPS, this lightweight structure sits on the plot’s existing single storey building foundations. Through the use of simple geometric forms extruded across the length of the site, the scheme houses an internal street alongside a cafe and a series of flexible workspaces. alma-nac's engagement with the client involved direct consultant appointments, through which community consultation, business modeling, delivery partner tendering alongside a full package of architectural services were delivered. Funded in part by the GLA Good Growth Fund, this project will form a colourful piece of community engaging architecture, reviving an otherwise unused corner of Lambeth.
