2PM Architects designed a contemporary rear extension to a Victorian family home in Muswell Hill, London Borough of Islington. The project created a generous open-plan kitchen and living space at the heart of the house, featuring a striking glass-box-style roof and fully glazed corners that flood the interior with natural light. Oversized pivot doors provide seamless access to the landscaped garden, while a green sedum roof enhances biodiversity and blends the extension with its surroundings. The scheme balances modern design with period character, and 2PM Architects managed planning approvals with Islington Council, detailed technical drawings, and construction management through to completion.
