A youth engagement project for Blueprint regeneration, ZCD pilot their toolkit ‘Voice Opportunity Power’. For the Trent Basin Development in Nottingham being delivered by Blueprint Regeneration (a partnership between Nottingham City Council and Igloo Regeneration) will provide 350 new houses and apartments alongside the waterfront, near the city centre. ZCD are piloting their toolkit ‘Voice Opportunity Power’. Sessions have been carried out with young people from a local charity, Switch Up and from Flo Skatepark. Their input is helping the design and development team better understand the needs of young people and to create places within the scheme that they think will work for them, as well as other age groups. This includes waterfront, basin and park spaces as well as an overall approach to car free, people first courtyards and streets.
