Our client wished to refurbish and develop 10 Lizban Street by restoring the front facade, bringing the ground floor accommodation up to the standards required for disabled access (in line with "Lifetime Homes") where possible, installing a kitchen on the ground floor (enabling disabled access) and generally making better use of the potential of the property by installing a bedroom in space freed-up by moving the kitchen from the first floor to the ground floor. A new conservatory was built to house the kitchen, which looked over two small glass-enclosed courtyards.
