About the practice

WOO Architects are a London based architectural design practice that creates innovative and bespoke design solutions for sporting, community, and cultural projects all over the world. WOO was created in 2014 by the team who led the design of the London 2012 Olympics. Our collective role with London 2012 started with the earliest bid work, through to the final design, delivery and staging of the games and our involvement has continued with legacy works for London Stadium. Our team is 20 strong with a group of professionals who are all passionate about sport and design – always striving to deliver the very best solution for both elite and community users. We believe that all our work should be grounded within its location, blending the very best of the local community with the excitement and passion of elite sporting achievements. The team draws upon real experiences, bringing invaluable insight, and delivers at the highest level – ranging from stadium design, public realm, master planning, overlay, through to full event operations.
