A new build house with indoor swimming pool on a sloping site with entry and garage at the upper level and master bedroom and pool at the lower (garden) level. The house has high levels of insulation (effectively to Passivhaus standards) with solar hot water and electric panels on the (green) roof, borehole/ ground source heat pump heating, a private well and a whole-house ventilation system. The electrical system has been designed to minmise electro-magnetic fields and natural materials are used throughout, including recycled newpaper as wall insulation.
