A headquarters building and antibody technology research centre within a landscaped setting, with laboratories, support and staff facilities for 200 people. Accommodation includes open plan and cellular offices, laboratories and write-up areas, quiet rooms and group breakout areas, as well as a reception and exhibition space, a 200-seat conference suite, meeting rooms and staff refreshment facilities. The design has been rationalised as a modular facility for both labs and offices, which is flexible in the short term and easily adaptable in the longer term. The buildings are designed to encourage interaction between departments through an open plan design, with maximum visibility provided between lab and office space and with the centralised positioning of catering and breakout facilities.
