The redevelopment of a historic former coaching inn in the Ringwood Conservation Area, restoring and repurposing a long-neglected Grade II listed pub and introducing 8 new dwellings to the underutilised car park to the rear. New routes are created through the site providing a high-quality public realm. Our involvement spanned over 12 years, including complex planning negotiations, leading the complex conversion of the listed buildings and designing eight sensitively detailed new homes. Careful heritage restoration, significant structural interventions and a sustainable, context-led residential scheme have resulted in an attractive and contextual development that enhances the character of Ringwood town centre.
