Wm Saunders Partnership has just finished a successful Partnering Contract using the New Engineering form of Contract [NEC]. The project was to design and deliver a major aircraft hangar to house four Boeing 747 [the new generation of Boeing Business Jets] for a commercial client, Multiflight Ltd, at Leeds Bradford Airport. The £6 million project involved extensive taxiway and aircraft apron civil engineering works within a BAA controlled commercial airport environment together with two large aircraft hangars to house and maintain executive charter aircraft.
