The refurbishment of a two storey apartment in Bloomsbury close to the British Museum to create more space and better storage for the owner, using a more efficient and carefully considered layout. Existing partitions, chimney breasts and a staircase were removed and a new winding staircase and wardrobes were inserted. The new walnut staircase and joinery are designed as one large piece of furniture, added like a lining within the walls of the existing space.
