Whittaker Parsons collaborated with artist Edmund de Waal to design a temporary pavilion, the Library of Exile, which houses more than 2,000 books in translation, written by exiled authors. The panelled timber pavilion was originally housed at Ateneo Veneto in the San Marco district of Venice, as part of the Psalm exhibition which opened to coincide with the Venice Biennale 2019. Since Venice, the pavilion has been exhibited at Japanisches Palais in Dresden and is currently being displayed at the British Museum in London, until September 2020.
