We were approached to create a new fishing lodge at Farlows Lake, a highly regarded angling site nestled in the heart of the Colne Valley. With aspirations to be the top UK carp fishery, the client was looking for an exciting and contemporary design within the green belt setting that could be delivered within a tight timeframe. Our solution was a largely pre-fabricated modular timber pavilion, housing a broad range of facilities including a tackle shop, café, toilets and office space. A raw aesthetic approach combined with sophisticated detailing, gives the design a contemporary, yet natural feel, sympathetically integrated into the landscape
