This contemporary two-storey rear extension in South-East London is dedicated to enriching family life through forward-thinking design approaches. A defining element of the Wellstudio design is the integration of a home-working space strategically positioned to overlook the internal double-height atrium which seamlessly connects it to the ground floor kitchen and the main staircase, fostering visual connections and nurturing a sense of togetherness among family members. Additionally, the project prioritizes the mental and physical wellbeing of its residents by incorporating innovative design elements that create a harmonious atmosphere. These elements include maximizing the presence of natural light, ensuring effective ventilation, and the seamless integration of ergonomic design principles throughout the space. Through these deliberate design choices, the project aspires to enhance the overall quality of life for its occupants.
