A derelict, thatched timber framed barn ( built in the 18th C using older timbers, including those from a hall house) was brought back from the verge of collapse and converted into an annexe to a house. The scheme involved conservation-grade repairs to the frame, use of Hemcrete to form and stabilise the side-aisle wall and traditional hair-lime plastering on laths.
