As an architect practicing over 40 years, initially working on warehousing around the UK, note Aztec west, Bristol, the adjacent site, where the RAC building stands today, for the developer of these sites and many around the UK for clients like M&S, Littlewoods and Carryfast and other major suppliers. Worked with the then private practice, the dis-expanded WDA architects, an industrial development method, adopted by the English, building numerous industrial buildings. The use of industrial buildings is now extensive, from shopping centres, retail parks etc. plus have designed and built high tech industrial buildings, converted industrial units for other purposes, and worked in the pharmaceutical industry, refurbishing labs and production buildings, to now handling plant works plant installations, with their regulations. In a legislative environment, and analysing it over the last 40 years, every project presents its own challenges, something we work to achieve.
