An architect with 42 years, 32 years post RIBA experience, learnt to to specialise early on, working on individual properties, and design of one off houses, work in National Parks, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Conservation, and Listed properties, developing existing and new. From the kitchen extension to multi million pound extensions one off properties, new to refurbishment up to over a £300 million plus property. Two other sectors interested me, Hotels, initially refurbishing existing, extending and building new, from small one off operators to multi-nationals. Sport facilities, as an active distance athlete from a young age, individual houses, hotels and sports facilities, all require, gyms, pools etc, interlinking the works, so have developed a career, specialising is such sectors, however have built my career working in the city building, from Government, and private sector offices, banks, British Telecom, film studios, British airways HQ to airports. All building one's experience, from understanding how the client operates the design, to detailing structures, problems, and site experiences.
