A contemporary house extension. This is an elegant and bespoke 110sqM (1100sqft) extension to an existing Grade 2 listed Surrey home. The original house was built in the early 1960’s of modest means and materials that reflected the technology of the time. With the help of the owners we have reinvented the original steel frame module to produce a harmonious and complimentary extension that forms a single storey contemporary open plan arrangement connected to the original house via a glass link-way. The modern extension sits comfortably with the original house, provides additional accommodation including bedrooms, utility and open-plan living area whilst adopting a sustainable approach to material selection and exceeding current building regulations.
