The new building and interior workspace for is designed with people at its heart. It is an exemplary workplace experience that responds to the digital revolution currently taking place. It is a ‘machine for the digital workplace’ and challenges the traditional thinking on workplace environment. Our holistic approach to the office design has delivered a vibrant and sophisticated workplace. Internally it embraces agility, collaboration and innovation and supports its users with full digital connectivity. The internal spaces are carefully considered with direct connections to nature and views the surrounding landscape where possible. Externally the building sits alongside and forms a strong counterpoint to the swooping architecture of the original building The building celebrates the visionary spirit of Holiday Extras, who recognise the need for business to adapt to current and future technological and cultural forces, the need to attract and retain quality staff and to provide a workplace that inspires creativity and innovation. Increasingly job roles are becoming less defined as work-life becomes more project based, boundaries are blurred. Successful companies are recognising this shift to a more flexible and dynamic culture. The building should harness and promotes the creative energy of this change, it will motivate and engage by offering a multitude of differing work settings to satisfy a diverse and increasing agile workforce and in-turn enable them to; collaborate or focus, play or think, meet or greet. At its core the business is about people and the building recognises this providing a comfortable workplace which puts the energy, connectivity and wellbeing of its staff at the heart of its design.
