Alteration to existing property
The project is part Cat A and full Cat B office fit out. WAM took an existing barn and associated out buildings that had previously been converted to office space and reconfigured them to provide a coherent and open footplate with a new centrally cover 'heart' space and dedicated entrance. This now provides a focus to the workplace, a space that successfully combines working, meeting and greeting places into one ‘agora’ that is used by all members of the team for all types of work. The rest of the building now successfully connects into this space allowing the business to operate in more open, agile and collaborative environment. This design has supported business growth, increased office wellbeing and attracted new staff. Ply was used extensively as both a construction and decorative panel system and this gives the building a unique feel. All of our projects source and use sustainable materials and methods. Where possible they are easily recycled or best have a positive impact on the environment.
