From our studios in London, Liverpool and Hamburg, we design for a diverse range of cultural, residential, commercial, education and public realm clients. vPPR is a women-led architecture practice, set up by Tatiana von Preussen, Catherine Pease and Jessica Reynolds in 2009. We design architecture that is conceptually legible at an urban, architectural and detail scale in response to each site and brief. We have built up a wide ranging portfolio of complex residential, commercial, public and temporary designs, both new build and renovations, and are deeply committed to the creative improvement of urban life through sustainable, playful and bold interventions. We are particularly interested in creating dialectical relationships: the meeting of innovative digital technologies with traditional materials, juxtaposing cutting-edge geometries with the historical detailing, alternating between artificial and natural environments. Sustainability is crucial to our philosophy, both in terms of ecological, urban and cultural impact. We work closely to integrate landscape with the built environment and to reactivate leftover spaces in the city. At vPPR Architects, we also believe access to culture is fundamental for communities to thrive. We design spaces that inspire creativity by prioritising shared space, flexibility of use and artist collaborations. Our projects are not only designed to be robust and long lasting, but also embrace sustainable strategies and aesthetics.
