A bespoke, one-off new build house for a private client in a rural setting on the outskirts of York. The design focuses on craftsmanship and simplicity. Our client was keen to explore sustainable construction methods to realise their vision of an eco-friendly home that was practical, achievable and long-lasting. Working closely with our client, we provided full architectural services to develop the design, secure planning consent and provide construction information. The property has a precision-engineered super-insulated timber frame, Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery and a BioDisc treatment plant.
