Renovation of a Commercial/Medical Grade II Listed Building at 12 Upper Wimpole St, London W1. The existing Grade II listed building had historic mixed residential and medical use with a series of poorly subdivided consulting rooms and an under used basement area suffering from years of water ingress - all served by a willing but aged Edwardian caged lift. The main building was extended at lower and first floor levels, condensers were rationalised to a new roof location and the original room forms were restored to produce bright new well-lit suites, serviced by an enlarged lift car and state of the art M+E.
