One Trinity Park is an existing commercial office building located near Birmingham International Airport. The building was original constructed in 1997 and nearly 30-years from this moment, is in need of functional, experiential and aesthetic improvements. Unity Architects was appointed to reimagine the external terrace to the main office building, in tandem with the rejuvenation of the main entrance lobby and reception space. With acknowledgment of the health and wellbeing benefits from connecting with nature and external spaces, there was great emphasis and exploration of how the external terrace should perform. A beautiful, stepped terrace combining planting and external seating allows workers a delightful relief to the internal spaces. Furthermore, the redefined qualitative environmental language sets the tone upon arrival of visitors and workers alike.
