Unit3 have designed and are project managing a new contemporary extension to the rear of an existing bungalow in Neston, Cheshire – due to be completed early 2016. The extension gained planning permission in April 2015 and will provide the owners with a new enlarged kitchen and dining space – allowing the layout of the existing house to be reorganised and made to flow better between spaces. New bi-fold doors will allow the internal dining space to link out onto a redesigned garden terraced area. The extension uses a light vertical timber cladding that blends in with the surrounding buildings and landscape, and features a stunning new sky light over the kitchen area.
