Unit3 have been appointed to provide full design services on a fantatic new residential extension in Liverpool that incorporates a number of green and sustainable credentials. The design provides a new bedroom, kitchen / sun-room and features a highly insulated building envelope along with an extensive green roof covering to encourage wildlife and bio-diversity into the garden. The orientation of the two extension wings maximise the natural daylighting limiting the demand for artificial lighting and reclaimed and salvaged bricks will add subtle texture, warmth and character to the contemporary design. The project is due to go on site June 2016 with completion around October 2016.
