About the practice

Peter Ungar trained at the Architectural Association and Cambridge University. After graduation he worked for Michael Hopkins and Partners and Jamie Fobert Architects until starting his own practice. He started Ungar Architects in 2006 designing a pool house in Los Angeles and has subsequently completed a major house refurbishment in Hampstead Garden Suburb, London, with several other projects in progress in the Hampstead, Belsize Park and Suburb area. Throughout his career he has worked on prestigious buildings including the Glyndebourne Opera House at Michael Hopkins & Partners and at Jamie Fobert Architects a 15,000 square feet family home in Trinidad. The majority of these projects have been in highly sensitive areas and he has significant experience within Conservation areas. Ungar Architects is committed to producing high quality work with great attention to detail and willingness to take on the challenges set by both the client and the site.
