The family of the Cobourg house were moving from farm to town, to the edge of Lake Ontario and Victoria Park, near the Heritage Quarter of Cobourg town. The former small house was demolished and construction began on a place to retire, with a home studio, basement theatre rehearsal space and room for lots of children and grandchildren.
