The Garth, a building constructed circa 1831 is now used as offices by Bicester Town Council. The project was a major makeover that would highly improve The Garth’s energy consumption. The radical makeover has not only resulted in impressive savings in energy bills and halved the building’s emissions of climate-changing carbon dioxide, but it has made The Garth more comfortable for its users with better ventilation and less overheating in summer with warmer, less drafty winters. T/D project managed the as part of a project team including partners Bioregional, Ridge and Partners, and Oxford Brookes University. It was delivered on time and on budget.
