Transit Studio reimagined members’ and events spaces across the three interlinked buildings of the iconic Groucho Club, unlocking a complex retrofit to host everything from weddings to intimate meetings. Working with former creative director Alice Anthony, we stitched the buildings together with bold contemporary interventions, expanding key rooms and adding dramatic focal points such as the Gennaro Room’s mirrored marble-arched bar. New links create flexible open-plan layouts, enhanced by mirrored ceilings, acoustic upgrades, and light-reflecting timber floors. Restored rooms celebrate the club’s rich art collection, while new bathrooms pair playful design with Soho rooftop views—blending modern elegance with the club’s vibrant character.
