Set among citrus groves on the slopes of Mount Etna, L House is a bold reinterpretation of a Sicilian millhouse, blending local tradition with contemporary design. A new lava stone-clad extension rises like a geological formation beside the restored barn, framing panoramic views of the volcano and sea. Using reclaimed materials, custom finishes and volcanic stone throughout, the project creates a luxurious yet grounded retreat. With outdoor living at its heart — including an infinity pool, kitchen and firepit — the house captures the drama of the landscape and the quiet richness of Sicilian rural life, all year round.
