Alteration to existing property, Listed Building - Grade II
3rd Floor, 25 Lexington Street , London , Greater London , W1F 9AG , United Kingdom
In the former servants’ quarters of a Grade II listed house near Hyde Park, we created an elegant pied-à-terre that unites contemporary living with period sensitivity. Working closely with Westminster Council, we reconfigured the lower ground space—removing partitions, relocating the kitchen beside the courtyard, and connecting living areas to the garden. Complex structural alterations simplified the plan, opening the interior to light and flow. Natural materials define the calm palette: pale walls, oak floors, and marble surfaces. A bespoke quarter-sawn oak kitchen with walnut detailing sits alongside mid-century furniture, creating a refined, timeless home that balances comfort, craftsmanship, and context.
