The project is split between two sites with a rural village road running between. The brief is for detached houses, of varying styles and size. All are traditional in character in order to sit comfortably within the site and to look as if they had always been there. Extensive consideration has been given to the siting, scale and aesthetics of the houses all which reference the adjacent properties. The existing mature trees, some specifically planted many years ago in anticipation of the development, are all retained, and space is available for further planting. Each property has a green outlook, areas of private space and all fit within the site contours to minimise impact on the existing environment and their siting means that the majority would not be visible from the road in order to mitigate any visual intrusion.
