This project reimagines a traditional London terrace, opening up the ground floor to create a generous, light-filled living space that connects directly with the garden. Working within the complexities of a designated flood zone, we secured planning permission for both a rear extension and a loft conversion, providing much-needed additional accommodation for a growing family. Contemporary steel-framed glazing and carefully detailed new elements bring clarity and light into the plan, while the interior—designed by our talented client, an interior designer—introduces warmth, softness and atmosphere. Together, architecture and interior work in balance to create a modern, calm and welcoming family home.
