A new Lower School for Alleyn's pupils aged 11-13. This is a triangular building for 300 children in six classrooms on each floor, arranged around a top lit central space. The building is rounded and softened on the outside, compact and convivial on the inside. It has proved very popular with staff and pupils making the adjustment from primary to secondary school. The Lower School won a RIBA London Award for Architecture
