Originally the offices for Berkshire County Council, (c. 1910), the relocation of the Council to newer premises resulted in the vacancy of this grand metropolitan building. The challenge was to convert the building into an opulent boutique hotel with restaurant, whilst respecting the fabric of the original building and ensuring compliance with all current safety standards and building codes. With the design flair of Nicholas Hollinshead Interiors, The Forbury is not just a place to stay but is also a complete experience.
