The new Hall for the Church was achieved by carefully demolishing part of the existing structure and replacing it with a practical structure suitable for use when the existing church is too full, for serving tea and coffee after the service, for band and music practice, for playgroups and for renting for other functions like wedding receptions etc. A door leads from the hall to a garden area where all the trees were protected during construction. The Hall needed a high ceiling for Badminton Players and other sports, so a glulam portal frame was specified to support the Hall Structure. Four very large doors divide the existing church with the new Hall for church servce overspilling. A servery linked to the kitchen provides refreshments to the congregation after the service.
