This Grade II Listed building and former George and Dragon pub had stood empty for 21 years and was falling into a state of serious disrepair and had become a local eyesore. The project was to sensitively restore the building and create two apartments above the pub. The pub itself retains much of its previous character via the windows, proportions, and original features but has a contemporary twist befitting a modern craft beer / bistro pub. The project was awarded the 2016 Birmingham Civic Society Renaissance Award.
